Design Management & Leadership MasterClass: Speculative Design Normalization

KISK (Department of Information Studies and Library Science, Masaryk University) is launching a new lecture series — Design Management & Leadership MasterClass — and Asociace UX was there as their best friend. We helped co-create the dramaturgy of the course lectures and selected topics that all of us are dealing with: cross-functional leadership, building design and research culture, design leadership in times of recession, AI and ethics, or the future of UX.

More information about upcoming lectures can be found on the KISK website: https://kisk.phil.muni.cz/aktualne/design-management-leadership-masterclass.

The lecture will be in English.

Continuing the series, J. Paul Neeley presents: Speculative Design Normalization.

While there has been a huge amount of interest around futures practice in the past decade, many organizations still struggle to understand how these approaches create value in today's world. In this talk J. Paul will share an introduction to speculative design practice, how it can be applied to create meaningful impact for organizations, and discuss why he believes we have an ethical imperative to spend more time in the future.

The lecture will take place online via Zoom. Join link: TBD.
