Projector UX meetup #8

  UX

Here we go.
Our 8th UX meetup which will happen at SinnerSchrader Prague office.

As usual we'll be listening to two speakers.

The first one will be Petr Parkan Janda — Product design director at SinnerSchrader Prague.
We'll listen about Design Time which means a bit different talk about motion in interface design.
There are numerous talks, presentations, medium articles, frameworks (material design) about motion design in context of an interface, so we all know what is easing and Disney sheet of different types of movement, or using parallax to add feeling of depth, or how circle turns into rectangle card to keep user in a context.
If you as a designer are fine with circle turning into a rectangle and that it is something what will engage your users, then feel free to skip this talk.
But if you want to learn how to DESIGN TIME, then this talk is right for you!

The second speaker friends confirmed an invitation and will come to us from Berlin.
Pavlo Kuznyetsov is a product manager at Zalando.
Will talk about replacing marketers with algorithms.

At the moment when the largest fashion e-commerce in Europe, Zalando, changed a marketing strategy towards complete automation and let go 250 marketers, Pavlo joined the team to build ML-powered marketing technologies. On the talk, he will showcase some real examples of how automation products are replacing designers and marketing experts and how such products are implemented in real life. He will also give advice on which skills to polish to stay relevant, and how to take part in building products that could automate your work.

Pavlo will shed light on the "zero retention approach" - a new wave of products that doesn't require a human touch or guidance and the way of measuring the usage and value of such tools.

In addition to that, Pavlo will run a quick workshop session to discuss the current product design challenges that Zalando solves at the moment and will discuss possible solutions with the audience.

Don't forget to book a spot here.
